Reid got to experience some of daddy's work and mommy's work a few weeks ago.
When we told him we were going to "daddy's party," he insisted we were going to daddy's birthday party. He was likely expecting juice, cake & ice cream, but instead he got this:
Delta Crawfish Boil
We were both shocked at 1) how much he liked the mudbugs and 2) how much he ate!
In the car on the way home, he said "Mommy, my tummy hurts. I need to go to the doctor." I just knew we were going to have a vomit-y mess in my back seat, but the sweet boy forged through it, and we made it home vomit-free.
Here's my new Region Manager, Natasha, with the boys. We've worked together since she started with STERIS in January of 2000.
Every year at STERIS' National Sales Meeting, they highlight some of the BIG WINS from across the country. Walnut Hill Medical Center will be one of them this year.
Everyone on my team agreed that we needed a photo worthy of the year - ONE BIG work win and TWO BIG baby wins in 2013!
The headline on our photos will be: Babies need new shoes!
Reid just kept saying, "These are your lights, mommy? These are your lights?" He also loved the "robot" in the room. He had a moment of hesitation as we walked in the OR, but he got over it quickly. Then he was just fascinated by it all.
"Working" like daddy.
Bonus shot: sporting a mohawk.
