Aunt Amy's & Uncle Travis' Wedding Weekend

We celebrated the marriage of Amy and Travis this past weekend in Fort Worth.  It was a fabulous time filled with family, friends & tons of fun...truly a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple.

It was a true test of the boy's adaptability and resilience, and I'm happy to report that he passed with flying colors {that is, with a little help from his Mimi...actually with a LOT of help from his Mimi...we couldn't have done it without her}!

Reid took amazing naps in his play pen in the hotel room, he survived meals on the go, humored us as we carted him in and out of his car seat and even powered through two very late bedtimes in a row!

But what was most impressive about our little guy was his incredible ring bearer skills. He and his partner in crime, Miles {Travis' nephew}, ROCKED the processional {well, second to the beautiful bride of course}!  I only got to see it from the narthex since the bridesmaids entered the sanctuary after the ring bearers, but it was the CUTEST thing ever!  Travis' younger brother held each of their hands as they walked down the aisle together.

It will be a while before we have the professional photos from the wedding, so in the meantime here are a few amateur shots to give you a glimpse.  Please pardon the blurry photos...the photographer's camera was on the wrong setting.  :(

Getting ready for the wedding rehearsal
Practice makes perfect!
The Fort Worth Water Gardens were right across the street from our hotel, so we paid them a visit on the morning of the big day.
Mimi stayed at the top so she could take our picture

It was a little intimidating down at the bottom.  Those waterfalls were noisy!
Full of expression!

Time to get dressed...his BIG moment was almost here.
But first...a little cleaning {he's his mother's son!}

Loading up on the fluids
Post walk-down-the-aisle fun in the church nursery with his sweet {and oh-so-well behaved} friend, Miles

What a handsome young warrior, all dressed up. Sounds like everything went smoothly. Can't wait to see pics of the bride and groom. Hugs and Kisses.
