Famous Footwear

When Dallas Moms Blog announced their partnership with Famous Footwear for their Back to School Event for local bloggers, I knew I was in for a treat.

Shoes, shoes & more shoes!

And not just shoes, but the name brands and styles that my whole family loves.  They have something {or somethings} for everyone  - men, women, kids, toddlers & even infants - with brands such as Steve Madden, New Balance, Sperry, Nike, Crocs & Polo by Ralph Lauren.

We all love a bargain, right?

There are multiple ways you can receive discounts and promotional offers - via their rewards program, via text, and there's almost always a coupon available on their website.  Right now, you can take an additional 15% off your entire purchase online or in your neighborhood store just by using the coupon on their website.

Babies need new shoes!
 And daddy does too!
In addition to all the fun, Famous Footwear and Nunez PR threw in a "shoe grab."

Yes, you guessed it!  If you were one of the three lucky names to be drawn, you got 30 seconds to make a run of the store and grab as many shoes as you could {think Super Market Sweep}.  And if that wasn't wonderful enough, Famous Footwear donated the value of the shoes to a local charity to support kids and their back to school clothing and supply needs.

Win-win if you ask me!

Although my name wasn't drawn, one of Dallas Moms Blog's own - Krystal's - was!  I must say, she made us proud by rounding up the most shoes of all three women.

Go, Krystal, Go!

If you haven't stepped foot in a Famous Footwear lately, you're missing out.  Find your neighborhood store via their store locator, and check out all their great fall finds!

Happy Three Months!

In case you can't tell from the photos, the twin-littles are growing like weeds!

They are starting to blossom into their own distinct personalities, and I must say, they are some of the smiling-most babies I've ever met!  And with such a wonderful, loving big brother like Reid, how could they not be?!?

 Outtakes...aka. "We've had enough!"

This is how you will typically find Reid's most prized possessions - all lined up {and organized} on his highchair.  Ready for the next meal or snack!
Our first outing with the twin-littles in a "normal" stroller.  They seemed to enjoy it much better than their claustrophobic car seats.
As Grandma Deedee so perfectly captioned:
"unconditional love"
Those are some big shoes to fill, but I know our little warrior is up to the challenge.
Jeff *sacrificed* his birthday money this year for a *family* TV in the game room upstairs.
The things daddy will do for the benefit of the *whole* family.  We love our daddy!
Reid - "Watch the new TV, daddy, watch the new TV!"

Grandma DeeDee's {early} Birthday Dinner

The Andersen Family was lucky enough to help Grandma DeeDee celebrate her birthday by going out to dinner at Nazca Kitchen.

We've ordered take-out from Nazca before (and loved it), but this occasion confirmed that it is definitely one of our newest go-to neighborhood restaurants.

As you can imagine, we put their "kid-friendly" claim to the test, and they passed with flying colors!

Uncle Tony's multitasking skills
 Check out his taco...yum!
Tasty goodness all around (clearly seen in Uncle Sean's smile)!
 And then there was ketchup
 Best. Bread Pudding. Ever.  Seriously!

Happy Birthday, Grandma DeeDee!

Bentley stayed the weekend with us recently, and Reid was excited to help feed him.
Three dogs to go with our three kids.  :)
Hunter's hemangioma...may get bigger before getting smaller but all in all the specialist says it's nothing to worry about.
 Happy Hunter
