We realized we hadn't had professional pictures of the boys taken in our home, so we had a somewhat impromptu, mini at-home photo session this summer.

 Summer is full of all sorts of fun at school! Snow Cone Day is one of the favorites for sure!

 Reid went to Kidventure summer camp for two weeks, and he did awesome! Mom got to pack his lunch for the first time ever.  It was fun (temporarily of course!).

On Friday of his first week of camp, his group had a little performance. Reid's slacker parents had meetings they couldn't miss, but one of his school friend's moms sent me this short video.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers and great grandfathers in our lives!

To Everything There Is A Season

After 32 years of blood, sweat, tears and cheers, Jo Ann decided it was time for a new life adventure called Retirement!
We celebrated her dedication and her loyalty, and we rejoiced in the fact that even though this marked the official end of her long, noble career in education, all the littles in our family still get to experience the power of her love and influence for years to come.

We kicked off the celebrations with a reception at Duff Elementary School.
