July 5th - July 29th

"Look how tall I am, mommy!"

Balloon swords = poor parenting decision
Every kids favorite area of Northpark Mall

Hunter wants nothing more than to be just like Reid.
 Superhero day at LHCCEC

The coveted water fountain in the Crickets' class
 Rockstar day at LHCCEC

The dreaded phone call from school....this time to report a chipped tooth!
While playing on the sport court, Hunter collided with the ground.
Still a cutie pie...snaggle tooth and all!

So much fun stuff to do at the LH Rec Center (Larkin & Lila's birthday party), but these boys were fascinated with the window washer.
Daddy & mommy took the day off work for daddy's birthday, and this little monkey decided he wanted to tag along so he called in sick to school.
We love you, Grandma & Grandpa Sorensen!

Summer fun at Grandpa Kim & JoJo's!

Miss Aurora makes house calls, and the boys love her!
They love her so much that they help her clean!

Crickets - Jack & Hunter

On June 29th Jack officially became a Cricket at Lake Highlands Christian. "Cricket" in childcare speak means "potty training class!" Needless to say, this class will definitely mark a milestone in the boys' lives (and in mom's and dad's as well!).

This is the class Reid was in when he started at LHCCEC.

Miss Elboni and Miss Elma are the teachers. Miss Elboni is the master potty trainer. The entire Andersen family loves her to pieces!

Reid's favorite thing about the Cricket's class was the water foundation. Like brother, like brothers!

Reunited!
Two weeks after his brother became a Cricket, Hunter moved from the Explorer's Class to the Cricket's Class on July 13th.

Hunter's going away gift to his Explorer teacher, Miss Julia. He loves to build "towers!"

July 4th

On the morning of Independence Day, we headed out to our local Lake Highlands 4th of July parade. It's always so much fun, and it seems to be getting bigger and better every year.

Blinding sun anyone?!?

One of our favorite babysitters is a Wrangler at LHHS.
 Go Miss Rachel Go!

We ran into lots of friends at the parade and at the after parade party. Lena and Reid enjoyed the helicopter together.

There's always time for bounce house fun!
We were all pooped (and hot!) and ready for dad to pick us up.
Getting ready for some post nap time fun with the Coles at their water slide/bounce house.

Taking one last moment to honor those who protect our wonderful country.

"I pledge allegiance to the flag...."

Home Is Where the Heart Is

We realized we hadn't had professional pictures of the boys taken in our home, so we had a somewhat impromptu, mini at-home photo session this summer.
