Mimi's Visit

Mimi came to visit us for a long weekend in late November.

We stayed nestled up in the comfort of our warm home, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Come back to see us again soon, Mimi!

Party in Hunter's Crib

This is what "only waking once in the night for a bottle and diaper change" looks like the next morning (for the peeps behind the camera as well!).

H: "It's my crib, I can pull my brother's hair if I want to!"

J: "This may be your crib, but I'm still bigger than you, you know?!?"
 Apparently, Hunter doesn't scare easily.

William Barrett Powell

Early on the morning we were scheduled to fly to San Diego for Aunt Jamye & Uncle Brent's wedding weekend, another auntie and uncle were busy making history.

On Thursday, October 31, 2013, Amy & Travis welcomed their sweet blessing to the world.

Dylan's 1st Birthday Party

If you can't tell, the Andersens had fun and exciting activities every weekend in November!

Reid got to attend Dylan's 1st birthday party complete with all the Cars toys he could imagine (compliments of Dylan's big brother, Sawyer), a bounce house, a juice box, cake & a fancy lollipop. What more could a boy ask for!?!?

He's old enough now to know that not all presents are for him.  I pray that he enjoys giving more than receiving.

So ladylike…Happy 1st Birthday, sweet Dylan!

Daniela & Lucia's Sip and See

Brandy Lee and I had the pleasure of hosting our dear friend, Daniela, and her sweet new baby girl, Lucia for a festive Sip and See last month.

Lucia was born on September 3rd, and if you didn't know any better, you'd think the Andersens, Meierhofers & Sernas were competing to see who will have the most littles.

We're currently in a 3-way tie…I'm thinking it's going to stay that way too!

Upon our return from San Diego, we decided to start feeding the twin-littles "solid" food.  Although it appears from the first picture that the avocados were a hit, you'll quickly see they weren't received very well after all.

We discovered later that it was mom and dad's fault all along…we didn't puree the avocados enough for our sweet little guys.  One would think these were our first children.  Ha!

Concentrated, head-down lawn mowing…just like his daddy!
"Look, mom…hands!"

I walked into Reid's classroom to pick him up from school, and I found him with this moose cap on.  He ran up to me and in the cutest voice said, "I'm a moose, mom!  I'm a moose!"
Daniel Tiger wanted one last appearance before being put away in the attic.
This wig came with the Madagascar DVD that Aunt Amy got Reid for Christmas last year.  Reid wanted nothing to do with it, but it appears Jack is happy to take Reid's hand-me-downs.
