Radio Flyer!

The boys received an early birthday present in the mail from Grandma DeeDee and Grandpa Lou, and who knew a little ride-on, push toy would turn out to be so much fun!

It's already made for tons of entertainment for all three boys.  Now, if only they could learn to turn on their own.

Trying it out for the first time with Miss Maggie (thanks for putting it together for us, daddy!).
 Talking strategy
No surprise who the rider and the pusher would be!

Big brother wanted to join in too when he got home from school.
 "Give it back, mommy!"

 Our Master Puzzler!

Here's hoping and praying this is the only time we find our striped duo stuck behind bars.

As I went over to pick up and comfort a crying-Hunter following a little tumble and head bump, Reid ran over to the freezer and was asking for veggies (or so I thought!).  I said, "I'll get you some veggies in a minute.  Just let me take care of your brother first because he bumped his head."

After several seconds of persisting (and with the freezer door held wide open), I finally paid more attention to what Reid was trying to do.  He was struggling to pull a bag of frozen veggies out of the freezer.  He ran over to where we were sitting, held it out and said "for Hunter, mommy, for Hunter!"

Talk about a melted heart.  Thankfully, daddy was very close by and was able to snap a quick photo while Reid held the ice pack for his baby brother.
Mowing the yard with his buddy, John Crosby.
John's going to be a big brother soon!

 Bath time fun!
Gathering on the porch to watch the incoming storm.

Beloved Nanny:

You created a legacy like no other, and as your family, we will endeavor to continue on in this life in a way that will honor you and make you proud.

We are each better off to have known and loved you, and we were truly blessed by your unconditional love.

You will always be in our thoughts, our prayers and especially our hearts. What a beautiful Angel we now have in you.

In Loving Memory….

Corpus Bound

On Sunday, May 4th we loaded up the car and headed southbound on 35 to be with our family as we celebrated a beautiful life well lived.

When we walked in the door from the garage, this is what we found.  ;)  Thanks for thinking of me, Dad & Danice.  Believe it or not, the trip was much less eventful than I imagined it would be.  Thank you, my boys!
First thing's first, there's work to be done.
Smiles for Nana
Cousin time
Practice makes perfect, Brother, and I can already tell that you're going to be one of the Best!

My dad has been blessed to work for such a family-oriented company his entire life. They have always been there through the good times & the sad.

Dig in, Jack!
We celebrated Mother's Day a little early.
TTFN….ta ta for now!

Let there be sleep!
We had to cancel/postpone/reschedule several work and personal obligations while we were away, so despite the exhaustion we decided not to miss Hunter's and Reid's 5pm haircuts that were scheduled for the day we returned to Dallas.  After a 7 hour car ride, daddy took these two down the road for their appointments and then even braved the grocery store!  Thanks daddy!
