Father's Day

We were lucky enough to still have our family in town the day after Reid's birthday party, so we celebrated Father's Day with each of our own fathers {and uncles and grandfathers} as well.  The Rangers beat the Astros to cap off a great day at the ballpark.

Our missing link, of course, was Gary, but he was definitely on our minds and in our hearts. My mom and I were so very fortunate the day Gary entered our lives, and our world was brightened when Josh & Jenn made our family complete. Happy Father's Day, Gary!  We love and miss you on this day and everyday.

For the past 35 years one man in my life has set a standard that I thought would be impossible to ever match.  My dad is an amazing father who helped shape my heart and mind and always kept me steered in the right direction. He will always be my hero, my mentor, my inspiration.  Happy Father's Day, dad!

And as if that wasn't blessing enough, God saw fit to bring the best Father-in-Law into my life. Over the past four years, I've reaped the benefit of "marrying the family" and not just the man.  I couldn't have dreamed up a better FIL.  Happy Father's Day, Kim!

I've known for several years that I was blessed with a wonderfully loving & supportive husband.  Now, I've learned over the past year that my son was blessed with a loving, caring & devoted father as well.  He is our hero, our rock, our heart.

Happy Father's Day, Jeff!
