Tidings of the Twin-Littles
Although I've neglected the twin-littles on the blog lately, they have certainly been well taken care of and loved in person!
Their big brother gives them daily hugs and kisses, and daddy and mommy keep them well fed and hydrated. They seem to be happy little campers, but they sure are lively little fellas! They move a lot!
One of the things that is different with a twin pregnancy than with a singleton is the number of OB visits and sonograms.
Additionally, since I'm the oh-so-fun combo of being over 35 (high risk in the OB world) and prego with twins, my OB recommended we see a Maternal Fetal Medicine doctor for the first 30 weeks of our pregnancy just to have an expert opinion and stay on the safe side.
Although you won't catch an OB saying a negative word about ultrasound/sonograms, mommy is inheritently against having more sonograms than necessary. With Reid, we had a total of three throughout my entire pregnancy, and that was it!
But when the OB tells you it's for the safety of the babies, well, what is a mom supposed to say to that!?! Not to mention, the sono is the only way to really detect both heart beats since the commonly used doppler (externally on the belly) can't distinguish Baby A's heart beat from Baby B's.
So alas, we've had many sonograms thus far, but to look on the bright side - I get to see our sweet babes that much more!
First thing's first on the sonos - the anatomy shots. Believe it or not, we've had TWO friends recently (within 2 months of each other) who have been told the sex of their baby (in utero) INCORRECTLY. Yes, in the 21st century no doubt.
One of my college girlfriends was told she was having a girl (she currently has a 3 year old boy), and come to find out, her babe is actually another boy! We also have a friend from church (Brooks' mommy) who was told she's having another boy, but lo and behold, it's actually a girl! Can you believe?
Our little not-so-modest twin-littles have made certain that there's no mistaking their sexual identity:
Baby A is definitely a BOY!
Baby B is definitely a BOY too!

This one's for you, Dad - GIG'EM!

My little Thinker.
At 23 weeks, my maternal fetal medicine doc was proud to point out Baby B's "guns!" Look at that big bicep of his!
Yes, this IS what it appears to be. Baby A decided he needed to stretch out a bit, so he's resting his entire leg over Baby B's head and face.
Baby B doesn't seem to mind much though. :)

Andersen Family Photo Shoot
For Grandpa Kim's birthday, we ventured to one of mommy's favorite places - Northpark Mall - for a fun birthday dinner and to see one of mommy's favorite photographers - Ian Cole.
Ian Cole of "Faces" is the photographer who took our Christmas card photos back in November.
He makes a family photo session much easier than you'd typically envision. He's very laid back and patient, and the fact that he only shoots in black & white makes coordinating outfits very easy!
I hope he's still around when the twin-littles arrive because that may be the only way we're able to accomplish a decent family photo once we're a family of FIVE {gasp!}.

Happy 20 Months!
- I love to do all things "boy" like running, jumping & climbing, but my favorite is jumping. I'm really good at it too!
- I'm learning to undress myself. My socks and shoes are the first thing to come off when I'm in the car seat, and if I have "soft" pants on, I can remove those too (but not while in the car seat of course).
- I know LOTS of my body parts - eyes, nose, teeth, mouth, tongue, hair/head, belly button, bottom, feet, elbow, fingers & toes.
- I'm getting better and better at brushing my teeth. My dad taught me that.
- Mom and dad say I have a sense of humor now...whatever that means!
- I love to play the "Who's Who" game. Of course, I can point to all my family members (even my brothers!).
- I still get sleepy by 7:00pm, and I'm usually in bed between 7:30 - 8:00pm. I consistently sleep until 7:00am, but mom and dad said I had a growth spurt recently because I was sleeping until 7:30 and even 8:00am on a few occasions! Lucky them!
- To go along with that growth spurt, I've had a couple of weekend naps that lasted 3 and 3 1/2 hours!
- I weigh 29 lbs!
- I love to pretend play. My favorite is to pretend that I'm snoring/sleeping or to put on the yellow mustache and pretend I'm the Lorax.
- I know lots of words now, but my favorite is still "uh-oh!" And my first two word phrase was "uh-oh, mama!"
- I love it when people chase me...especially my daddy!
- Mom and dad recently discovered that I'm very ticklish all of a sudden. I'm not so sure this is a good thing because dad is relentless with the tickling!
- I can tell you (on most days) that I'm one year old by holding up one finger.
- Did I already tell you that I can point to where my brothers are? I also love to give them hugs and kisses.
- Trains, busses, cars, trucks & vans are my favorite...especially real ones!
- I like to say "hi" to everyone who passes by and in my highest pitched voice nonetheless. Mom thinks it is "so cute!"
- Despite the fact that I can be stubborn, impatient & willfull at times, mom says that for the most part, I am a "happy & lovable" boy!

Super Bowl XLVII
We had our Sunday school small group class over to cheer on the Baltimore Ravens & the San Francisco 49ers as they battled it out during Super Bowl XLVII.
We love our small group class, and it's an added bonus that we're all in the same general life & times. Well, almost. We do have two couples who don't have kiddos {yet}, but man, what troopers they are! You'd never know it from the understanding and patience they have for all of us parents and our littles.
Ready for our guests
Remember these three cuties? They spent last Super Bowl together too.
You can see how much they've grown in a year by looking back at this blog post - Super Bowl XLVI.
You may recall that these three were born in June, July & August of 2011. Well, their mommies are all expecting babies in 2013! We're so excited for more fun {crazy} times ahead!
Parker showing Hudson some love
Brooks showed him some love too!
Since the littles dug everything out of the toy box, Reid found this little gem at the bottom.
Not sure Parker loves The Lorax as much as Reid does.
Parker, her mommy & Parker's baby sister (due 2/27/13!)
Our newest, darling addition: Dylan Elizabeth born 11/14/12 to Ryan, Bryan & Big Brother Sawyer
