Grasshopper Reid

He's movin' on up!

On Monday, October 13, 2014, Reid officially became a Grasshopper at Lake Highlands Christian.

He was promoted to the Grasshopper's Class in Room 201, and his teachers are Ms. Kearria and Ms. Abby.  This officially marks the beginning of Pre-school for our sweet boy!

Kiddos are typically "promoted" from a Skeeter to a Grasshopper as early as 3 years, 4 months to as late as 3 years, 8 months.  They base their promotion on a few criteria - 1) they must be able to "handle" the total potty experience on their own (gasp says mom!), 2) they must be able to recognize all their letters & numbers to 10 and 3) they must be at least 3 years, 4 months.

Although I would say Reid's success with criteria # 1 is spotty (pun intended), he has mastered criteria #2 and as of October 13th, he was just one day shy of the minimum age.  

Way to go, Reid-Reid!

Even before his big debut, they already had his picture on the classroom door.
