Something Blue

Jeff and I decided it was time to delve into the wonderful world of fruit (fruits sweeter than avocado, that is), so naturally we chose the messiest of them all - blueberries.  We bought the frozen, organic version and steamed and blended them into a blue/purple liquid.  We added some of his baby oatmeal (which he still doesn't like solo), and it thickened up quite nicely.  The boy liked the oatmeal/blueberry mix.  Notice I didn't say he loved it.  It was definitely a change from his usual sweet potatoes, peas and squash concoctions.  He responded to it much more favorably when we fed it to him again later in the day.

Next fruit on the chopping block: mangos.

 the cleaned up aftermath

I think he was trying to tell me something....
...such as "the bubble blowing is about to commence."
at least he waited until he was done eating this time

i think he was proud of himself

What a great picture of his two teeth. He should be proud of himself, bubbles are a rite of passage, especially for boys, and he definitely is a cute warrior. Hugs and Kisses.
