National Night Out

Tuesday was the 29th Annual National Night Out, and our Lake Highlands Estates Neighborhood Association (LHENA) put together a fun event for the whole family.

Fortunately for us, it was on the grounds of Wallace Elementary {Reid's future elementary school}, so it was right down the street from our house.

He was thrilled to get to ride his trike the short distance to the school.

No fear on the slides
At first he seemed receptive to petting the sweet bunny...
But as you can see below, he quickly pulled his hand away as soon as that sweet bunny moved an inch.  :)
 His 1st balloon "animal."

He actually got a cool helicopter in honor of his Uncle Brent.

Fun on weekday evenings is still short-lived.  The little guy is tired and ready for bath & bed by 7:00pm most days.
Stopping to chat with one of the neighbors' pups on the way home.  This little one's name is Henry, and his brother is Hudson.

What a great event, looks like a fun time was had by all, even adults. So glad Aunt Jamye was there to enjoy the fun with Reid. Hugs and Kisses.
