Our Little Skeleton
Reid's great grandmother {Grammie} sent him a fun Halloween package, and this adorable, glow-in-the-dark skeleton onesie was in it. It's so cute on him, and it's super soft too. Thanks Grammie!

Fall Fest at Dealey
For those of you who know me well, it will be no surprise to you that I'm the new Room Mom for Reid's classroom. They haven't had one since April when their past room mom's daughter moved up to a toddler class. I asked the teachers why they didn't replace her, and Ms. Kim said it was because they have high expectations and were waiting for just the right person for the job. She said that she and Mrs. Connie knew after the first week that they wanted to ask me to do it. I told Ms. Kim that she shouldn't be in child care...she should be in sales! She definitely sold me.
After introducing myself to the other parents via email, my first job as room mom was the Fall Fest party. It is a big event held outside at the playground area with all kinds of fun activities such as the cake walk, ring toss, face painting station, pumpkin pond, picture booth, etc. Since there are only two infants in our classroom who can walk, we thought it would be fun to have a pre-party for everyone to visit and hang out in our room.
It turned out to be a great time. I brought Society Bakery cupcakes, and it's no surprise they were the talk of the party. Who doesn't like SB cupcakes anyway? Only the best...for Reid of course! ;)
Alisa {aka. Sophia's mom}
Cute Sophia
This is what Reid did for the majority of the party. And in case you were wondering, he has settled in to the less-than-serene sleeping environment and is napping quite nicely now. In fact, he slept over two hours on this particular day. Go Reid!
Svea has the longest eyelashes ever!
"There's a party going on?"

Adam ~ his mom Joanne is an ER nurse at Presby Dallas.
We decided to get dressed in our Halloween costume at school so we could dash across town to dad's party at work. Unfortunately, the long nap Reid decided to take and the Friday afternoon traffic turned our "dash" into a u-turn. We made it about 1/3 of the way to dad's office only to find out that everyone was packing up early. Sorry we missed it, dad!

Kristin {aka. Brayden's mom}
Brayden is the eldest of the bunch. He'll be transitioning to a toddler room soon.
In addition to our Fall Fest, today was Ms. Kim's last day at Dealey. We will miss you, Ms. Kim, but we wish you all the best with your new journey.
Cowboy Watchin'
Are you ready for some football?
Sophie likes football too.
"Hmmm. I wonder if we'll blow our 27 point lead?"

"I think the team does better when I stick my tongue out like this."
"OMG, dad...they won!"

Reid's 1st Arboretum Visit
Last Saturday we made our way to the beautiful Dallas Arboretum with our good friends, Meghan & Joey, and their son, Gabriel. You may remember Meghan and Gabriel from this blog post when they came over during my maternity leave for a play date. Gabriel is exactly two weeks older than Reid, so I imagine they will grow up to be great buds. We're so happy to have them back in Dallas!
Happy Autumn!
Editor's Note: Unless you're a grandparent, great grandparent or aunt, please beware. I had a tough time narrowing down the choices, so there are an insane number of photos on this post. Is it wrong that I think our kiddos are the cutest ever?!?!
